Macomb County Board of Canvassers

The bi-partisan board is responsible for reviewing and analyzing the results of all elections to determine who has been nominated or elected.  

After the general election, the Board delivers certificates of election to the County Clerk.  The Board also conducts recounts of certain offices.

The League of Women Voters of Michigan works to empower voters and defend democracy through voter education and engagement.  We advocate for democracy, encourage civic participation, and support local League leaders and members.

The League opposes Propsal 1 calling for a state Constitutional Convention.  Read more…
