What is the League?

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization.The League of Women Voters promotes informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy at the local, state and national levels. The League is nonpartisan and never supports or opposes political parties or candidates, although we do take positions on issues. Membership is open to men and women over the age of 16.
